Swami Atmandanda is one of the few living direct disciples of Swami Sivananda. He is a simple Swami living in the United States, practicing and teaching Yoga and Vedantic philosophy.

Arsha Vijnana Gurukulam is a portal for the dissemination of the teachings of Sri Swamini Svatmavidyananda Saraswati, the disciple of Paramapujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati –an internationally renowned master and traditional teacher of Vedanta. In the Sanskrit language, the word “Arsha” means “of the sages.” “Vijnana” means direct knowledge of oneself as the whole that is well understood and assimilated. Arsha Vijnana Gurukulam is a sanctuary for the understanding of oneself as free of all limitations as unfolded by Vedic seers. Arsha Vijnana Gurukulam was founded in March 2005 by Pujya Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswatiji. In addition to Atlanta, GA, Arsha Vijnana Gurukulam has satelite centers in Eugene, OR, and Washington DC. Arsha Vijnana Gurukulam is also a virtual ashram and teaching portal open to all serious spiritual seekers regardless of nationality or religious background. It actively seeks to promote religious tolerance and respect for diversity. We have two main teaching portals for livestreaming classes and for storing archived classes.
Jeffrey Armstrong | Kavindra Rishi
Jeffrey Armstrong is a yoga philosopher and inspirational speaker whose keen insights, delivered with humor and compassion, offer solutions to challenges facing our world. He is a Rumi-like poet and best-selling author who went from monk, to Apple executive, to motivational speaker. For the last 20 years he has opened hearts and minds with visionary presentations that blend modern science with timeless Vedic wisdom.
At age 50 he retired from the corporate world and dedicated his life full time to teaching the Vedic knowledge to yoga students, ashrams and corporations around the globe.
Although a man of diverse talents, his passion is without a doubt poetry. His style is as varied as his life experiences. As a poet Kavindra, he has authored over seven books of poetry, some of which have been turned into successful musical albums. Kavindra has been writing poetry since the age of thirteen and he now has a collection of over 1,400 poems on various subjects in many different styles.
Award-winning poet and best-selling author of numerous books including: Spiritual Teachings of the Avatar, Ancient Wisdom for a New World. Featured in the CBC documentary Planet Yoga and 2014 Leo Award documentary “Take Back Your Power.” Jeffrey is a relationship expert, philosopher, practitioner, Vedic Astrologer and teacher of the Vedas for over 40 years.
Komilla is the co-founder and Chair of the british Association for Vedic Astrology. She is an internationally renowned consultant, teacher and lecturer. Indian born, Komilla Sutton is one of the pioneers in making tis subject more accesible for the Western readers. She is the author of ‘Vedic Love Signs’, ‘Vedic Astrology’, ‘The Essentials of Vedic Astrology’, ‘Lunar nodes – Crisis and Redemption’ and “Indian Astrology”.
Silvia Nakkach, MA, MMT, named by Utne Reading magazine as one of 40 cutting-edge artists that will shake the art world in the new millennium. Silvia has cultivated a voice that transport the listeners into the heart of devotion, she is an award-winning composer, psychologist, author, and pioneer in the field of sound, transformation of consciousness, and music shamanism. She is the founding director of Vox Mundi School of the Voice, an international school devoted to teaching and preserving sacred music traditions, with centers and training in Bahia and Rio, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, and California. She is the creator, faculty, and main academic advisor for the Sound, Voice, Music Healing Certificate at the California Institute of Integral Studies, in San Francisco. She is also the founder of the The Path of Dhrupad Singing School in the States.
Swami Sitaramananda is a monastic from Saraswati order from Sankaracharya-Sivananda lineage, expert teacher in Yoga Philosophy and Yogic methods from the 4 classical paths of Yoga for more than 30 years. She is senior disciple of Himalayan Yoga Master Swami Vishnudevananda, who is a direct disciple of H.H.Sivananda. She was nominated acharya by him in 1989. and is presently acharya of US West coast Centers and Ashrams as well as Asia, specially Vietnam where she hailed from. She met with Swami Vishnudevananda in Val Morin, Canada at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Camp in 1981 and has served devotedly her Guru and her Guru’s organization – the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers – since then. She is the director of Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm, Grass Valley, CA for 20 years. Swami Sitaramananda has taught many international Teachers Training courses in California, Vietnam, Taiwan and India and is also teaching regularly at Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat, Nassau Bahamas.
She is the author of ” Positive Thinking Manual”, “Essentials Yoga Practice and Philosophy” (translated in chinese, japanese and vietnamese) and “Swamiji Said, a collection of teachings by Swami Vishnudevananda in His Own Words” as well as 2 poem books. She is responsible of the translation in Vietnamese of the “Completed Illustrated Book of Yoga” of Swami Vishnudevananda. Swami Vashistananda comes from the Namboodri lineage in Southern India, Kerala. He was the personal priest of Swami Vishnudevananda and has been a long-time teacher of bhakti and vedanta in the Sivananda organization ever since. He has been at the Yoga farm since October 2014.
