Pete is a Senior student of Jeffrey’s and often conducts the classes when Jeffrey is travelling.

Kimberly Ulrich: Owner and Ayuvedic Practioner at Ashland Ayurveda

Clinical Ayurveda Specialist Kimberly Ulrich R.N., owner of Ashland Ayurveda, uses her nursing background to help clients bridge the gap between western and eastern, Allopathic and Ayurvedic medicine. She specializes in detoxification, lifestyle management and the body-mind-spirit connection. She has also traveled and trained extensively in India.
She is a graduate of the California College of Ayurveda in Grass Valley and completed Dr. Frawley’s study course through the American Institute of Vedic Studies . She trained as a Panchakarma Specialist and uses this training for panchakarma classes and retreat panchakarma at Ashland Ayurveda.
In the early 1970′s Kimberly lived in the North of Scotland, in the Findhorn Community for three years. This community was an amazing spiritual learning experience for her, which is at the heart of her mind–body–spirit approach to healing. “ I now see that Ayurveda has the perfect framework to hold the concepts of healing that I have known were true for most of my life,” she said.
Before and after her formal Ayurvedic training, Kimberly traveled and trained extensively in India. During a 6 month trip in 2003 she was a delegate to the International Global Health Summit in Bangalore. She has studied with many doctors in America and India: Drs. Marc Halpern, Anil Vinayak Panse, David Frawley, Vivek Shanbhag, Jadadish Bhutada and foremost with Dr. Sucheta Godbole in Pune. Kimberly has intense gratitude to these and many other souls who have aided in her practice of Ayurveda.

ron steltingRon Stelting & Odette Slater:

Odette and Ron together, have over 50 years of experience within their fields of yoga and drumming. Whether performing, studying or teaching; both individuals have a love of their craft and a desire to continue to grow and share.

Ron plays drum kit regularly with  the Jim Foster Band including gigs at the Saturna Island Wine Fest (9th year in a row) and The Benefit for Alzheimers Research at the Yale Hotel. Ron also plays drum kit with the Brent Shindel Band and with the Linda Kidder Group. Ron played congas at the Vancouver Jazz Fest with Gary Comeau and the Cajun All Stars ;   all kinds of exotic percussion with Andre Thibault and JOU TOU at Harmony Arts Fest and Kelowna Children’s Fest;   Jembe and more percussion with Pepe Danza and Drum Prayers at Seattle Rhythm Fest and the Filberg Arts Fest;  Cajun drum with the Ghost Brothers at a Camp Moomba / Kids with AIDS benefit.

Ron also leads his own percussion ensemble “Random Acts of Public Drumming” which blends performance with participation. Some highlights include the 60th Anniversary of Ten Thousand Villages;   playing for fifty thousand runners at the Vancouver SunRun Marathon;   and a series of performances for Obikwa Wines, benefiting the Nelson Mandela Fund.
